Hello! My name is Ticia Symonds, and I founded Legal Locator Service in 1996 – Background Screening Excellence, in Lake Oswego, Oregon, where we are still based today. My company serves clients around the country – and the globe.
When I started Legal Locator Service, I was one of the first female licensed private investigators in Oregon. I offered background screening services to employers, because of the potential for fraud during the hiring process. It is easy to create a false résumé and to be charming in an interview! It is essential to verify a candidate’s qualifications, to save the headaches that arise from a “bad hire.”
